Description
Ford introduced the Bronco II for the 1984 model year as a Ranger-based competitor against Chevrolet’s S-10 Blazer. The mini-Bronco was offered with two different V6 engines over the course of its production run, and several trim levels were offered, including a range-topping Eddie Bauer edition. The Bronco II was replaced in 1991 by the Explorer.
Power comes from a “Cologne” 2.8-liter V6, rated at 115 horsepower and 150 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to the rear or all four wheels via a 5-speed (4+overdrive) manual transmission.
