Description
THIS… is a 1993 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra, finished in Teal Metallic with an Opal Gray interior.
This Mustang features a 5-speed manual transmission, and its odometer currently displays about 31,400 miles.
The attached Carfax history report shows a gap from 2005-2011, though it lists no accidents or mileage discrepancies for the given time period.
A window sticker is provided in the photo gallery showing an MSRP of $21,257 when new. A partial list of notable equipment includes 17-inch aluminum wheels, a Traction-Lok rear axle, and 4-wheel disc brakes, a flip-up sunroof, leather sport seats, air conditioning.
Modifications to this Mustang include a MagnaFlow exhaust with California-compliant catalytic converters, adjustable upper strut mounts, and mounting holes for a roll cage.
The “Fox Body” generation of the Ford Mustang has become iconic for its distinctive styling and was seen as a return to form for the Mustang when it replaced the Pinto-based Mustang II in 1979. A facelift in 1987 brought with it more aerodynamic exterior styling, an upgraded interior, and a more powerful V8 engine.
The high-performance SVT Cobra model was introduced in 1993 as the sole model year for the Fox Body Cobra. It was also the debut vehicle for Ford’s SVT division. Improvements over the Mustang GT include a thoroughly revised engine, an upgraded Borg Warner transmission, rear disc brakes, and an exclusive suspension system developed by Tokico.
Power comes from a 5.0-liter V8, rated at 235 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to the rear wheels via a 5-speed manual 4 transmission.
